We want to work closely with residents and service users to make sure we deliver the services they want.
These are some of things we have in place to do this:
Resident Engagement Strategy
This strategy sets out our approach to resident engagement across the Elim Group and gives details of the range of opportunities we offer for you to engage with us, influence service delivery and develop skills.
The Resident forum meeting takes place every 3 months and is open to all Elim residents. The forum helps to make sure that we provide the right services to residents, monitors and challenges standards of service and get involved in decisions which impact on residents. You can find more information, including the dates of the next meeting, on the The Resident forum page.
We can provide training for residents who want to be involved with the forum, wish to join the board or set up a local group to discuss local concerns.
Estate Walkabouts are a great way for you to meet up with your Housing Officer and suggest ways to improve the area where you live.
The types of things we look out for in our walkabouts include:
- dumped rubbish
- communal repairs
- cleanliness of shared areas
Support Project meetings
We hold regular meetings in all of our Support services housing projects. During these meetings residents are consulted on a wide ranged of issues relating to their individual project and the wider organisation.
We carry out resident satisfaction surveys for feedback on how we are doing and how we can improve.
Online feedback form
We have an online Feedback Form for tenants and residents to give their views on our services.
You can find information about changes made as a result of feedback recevied on our You said, we did page.
Project team involvement
Residents have been involved in a number of project teams including those for website development and equality.
We are always interested in hearing from residents or service users who would like to get more involved. This could be through:
- Joining the Resident Forum
- Being part of a project team
- Being consulted on projects by post, phone, email or online (but not actually attending meetings)
- Completing surveys - by post, phone, email or online
- Suggesting and/ or helping to write content for website.
