What we do: Housing
Elim Housing manages general needs housing, supported housing, intermediate tenures and shared ownership properties.
General Needs Housing
We have general needs accommodation in seven different Local Authority areas. Our properties in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and South Wales are mostly managed from our head office in Thornbury. Some of our Bristol properties are managed by Local offices and our properties in Birmingham and Mansfield are managed by our Tamworth Office. You can find contact information for all of our offices on our Contact us page.
We offer a range of accommodation from one bedroom flats to four bedroom family houses and we are able to house single people, couples and families.
Most of our accommodation is owned by us. However we do lease some properties and we also manage some accommodation on behalf of other landlords.
Our general needs accomodation is let through the Local Authority, usually through their Choice Based Lettings scheme. To read more information about becoming an Elim resident visit our Find a home Section.
We aim to work with residents to sustain their tenancies and we often work in partnership with other agencies to assist this.
Intermediate Tenures
We have a small number of flats that we let on intermediate rent. The rent charged is more than a general needs tenant would pay but less than a private tenant would pay for the same property.
You can find more information about becoming an Elim resident in our Find a home Section.
Shared Ownership
We manage a number of shared ownership flats in Bristol and North Somerset. We part own some of these homes and manage the rest on behalf of other landlords. If you are an existing shared owner you may find useful information on our Shared ownership page.
You can find more information about purchasing a shared ownership property in our Find a home section.
Supported Housing
We have supported housing schemes in Bristol , Gloucester, North Somerset,South Gloucestershire and Staffordshire. Our Support services section has more information about our schemes and the services we offer.
