Opening hours survey

We have been looking at the way Elim is organised so we can ensure our residents receive the best service that we can offer.

This review has looked at lots of things including opening hours.  As a result, from 1st July 2013 our Head Office will be open slightly longer from 9.00am to 5.15pm.

It was also suggested that residents may find it helpful if they could contact our Head Office by phone outside of usual working hours.  To find out what residents would like us to do we have asked them to complete a short survey.  You can find a copy of this by following the link at the end of this article.

The survey was sent out with the Spring edition of Homelife and can be returned in the prepaid envelope provided or by handing to a member of staff.  Alternatively residents can email their comments to: info@elimhousing.co.uk

Get Online @ Home

June 2013

Get Online @ Home is a new scheme backed by Microsoft which aims to help millions of households across the UK to access cheap PCs and laptops and to get connected. This is increasingly important as more and more service move online, including job adverts and employment application processes.

The scheme is offering eligible consumers a refurbished computer for as little as £24 and broadband for £2.99 per month.

If you are on housing benefit, income support, job seeker's allowance, pension credit and or other benefits, you may be eligible for a PC for £99 or a laptop for £149.

A special offer £75 discount for those also signing up for broadband at the same time, means a Windows 7 PC with a monitor, keyboard and mouse costs just £24. The offer will last until the end of June.

Even if you're not on one of the qualifying benefits, prices are set at £149 for a PC and £179 for a Laptop.
