Finance Board Member


Based near Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, Elim Housing Group provides homes and services to around 850 individuals and families and we are actively building new homes and developing new initiatives. We are seeking a non-executive director to join our pioneering board.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Group Board, providing vision and leadership to guide us through a period of significant transformation and growth over the coming years. We do not pay board members but there are other rewards

 

We are a diverse and ambitious housing association with an innovative approach to delivering affordable housing.  We also have a commercial subsidiary with a separate board, Lime Property Ventures, which develops and manages property in the market sector.

 

We are offering an excellent opportunity to develop new skills, knowledge and competencies to enhance your CV, whilst supporting our mission to deliver quality homes and support services that change people’s lives.

 

We are looking for a creative and dynamic board member to provide clear strategic direction to enable us to succeed in a commercial world.  You will need to be a senior finance professional and have the ambition and commitment to be part of our evolving committee arrangements, particularly our Finance, Risk and Audit Committee. You will need experience in management and company accounts, audits, and risk management strategies.  Financial modelling skills would also be useful.
