All About Elim

Elim are committed to ensuring that the housing and support we provide serve as a platform for growth, so that our residents can achieve their aspirations. We are proud to deliver support services which focus on addressing homelessness through education and employment, enabling people to stabilise and progress from times of crisis.  Our customers include families and single people living in our properties for rent, young people undertaking apprenticeships or training, clients within our support services and people buying houses that we have developed, among others.

Launched in 2018, Your Best Move focusses on using our relationship with residents, from the point of allocation onwards, to understand their housing and career aspirations, and to establish practical actions we will take to support individuals and families to overcome obstacles to financial and social independence so that they can meet these aspirations.

In 2019-20 we were able to support 15 household to  achieve their ‘Best Move’ without leaving Elim’s service. These households progressed from our shorter-term homelessness services into a permanent Elim Home. This reflects Elim’s commitment to use our stock to fulfil our organisational vision: “to meet housing need and to deliver homes that change people’s lives.”
