It provides support to 42 residents in single rooms with shared living facilities. Residents are allocated a Support Worker and develop a personalised support plan, enabling them to progress towards more independent living in the future. Residents at Ron Jones usually stay around 9 months, although this may change depending on the resident’s circumstances.
Ron Jones House is part of Bristol’s homelessness pathway for men.
The pathway is delivered by The Salvation Army, in close-partnership with Second Step, Liverty, Places for People, and Elim. All organisations are committed to partnership-working to ensure every resident in the pathway receives the best possible service available to them.
Those moving on from Ron Jones House to independent accommodation can also benefit from Liverty's resettlement service.
Referrals to Ron Jones House are made by Bristol City Council’s Housing Support Register. If you aren’t on the system yet, you can contact BCC’s Homelessness Team on 0117 352 6800 or at any Customer Service Point.
