Time to Heal Service Set for Expansion

Following the success of our pilot Hospital Discharge Service, Time to Heal, We are pleased to announce that we have now received confirmation that two variations to the substantive contract have been approved. Elim have delivered this service at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital over the last five years, funded by Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group. A service which supports inpatients who are homeless, at risk of homeless or in insecure accommodation. Time to Heal works towards improving the health of Gloucester's homeless population by contacting patients pre-discharge and by seeking accommodation solutions on discharge.

The expansion will see an extension to the successful Time to Heal pilot at Wooton Lawn Psychiatric Hospital, as well as a further variation that will see Elim delivering the service at Cheltenham General Hospital.

Elim are delighted that the service has received this recognition. The decision will ensure the continued support of people suffering the double challenge of ill-health and housing need in our local communities.
